Georgia Hanias is an internationally renowned fintech PR specialist, representing some of the world’s most cutting-edge firms to the global media.
She has decades of experience in traditional and digital PR campaigns, having worked all over the world on both the media and the agency side. This has given her an unparalleled understanding of the stories journalists are looking for and strong relationships with global news establishments.
Before launching her consultancy Georgia was a founding team member and former Head of Global Communications at Innovate Finance, the global fintech trade association in the UK representing nearly 300 of the world’s most exciting fintech firms. During her time there she travelled extensively with the Mayor of London and the UK government to promote the UK as the premier fintech hub and also served as a fintech specialist advisor for the UK Department for International Trade.
Previously, she was a director at Citigate Dewe Rogerson, one of the most respected names in financial corporate communications. She has also worked as a features writer and broadcaster, reporting on human rights issues from Asia, Europe and the Middle East for media outlets such as ITN, Marie Claire, Libertine magazine and the New Internationalist.
